At Langley Orthodontists, many of our patients are pleasantly surprised to learn that traditional braces aren’t the only option for achieving a beautifully aligned smile. Invisalign offers a flexible and less invasive alternative, capable of correcting a wide range of orthodontic issues. Whether you’re dealing with overcrowding, gaps, various types of bites (deep, open, or cross), or more complex cases that may require extractions or surgery, Invisalign’s technology is designed to address these concerns effectively. The clear, removable trays of Invisalign allow for easier cleaning and flossing without the complications of wires and brackets, and they permit the enjoyment of foods that are typically off-limits with conventional braces. Additionally, Invisalign eliminates many discomforts associated with traditional braces, such as mouth sores and injuries from protruding wires or broken appliances.
Our patients particularly appreciate the discretion and convenience offered by Invisalign. The clear aligners are virtually invisible, blending seamlessly with your natural smile. For special occasions, the trays can be easily removed and then replaced, ensuring that nothing interferes with your significant moments. This level of aesthetic flexibility, combined with effective treatment and comfort, makes Invisalign a favored choice for those seeking orthodontic treatment at Langley Orthodontists.

Your journey begins with a visit to your orthodontist. During this initial consultation, your orthodontist will assess your dental structure, discuss your goals, and determine if Invisalign™ is suitable for you. This step often includes taking X-rays, photographs, and digital scans of your teeth to create a precise treatment plan.
Using the images and data collected, your orthodontist, in collaboration with Invisalign™, will craft a personalized treatment plan. This plan includes a digital projection of how your teeth will move at each stage and an estimate of the treatment duration.
Once your custom aligners are ready, you'll receive them from your orthodontist. These aligners are made of a clear, flexible material, designed specifically to fit snugly over your teeth and gradually shift them into the desired position.
You will need to wear your aligners for 20 to 22 hours a day, only removing them to eat, drink anything other than water, brush, and floss. Approximately every two weeks, you'll switch to a new set of aligners that will continue the teeth movement process.
Throughout the treatment, you'll have periodic check-ups with your orthodontist to monitor progress and make any necessary adjustments. These visits are crucial to ensure everything is moving according to plan.
After you’ve gone through all your aligners, your teeth should be in their final positions. However, to prevent them from shifting back, you'll likely need to wear retainers. Your orthodontist will discuss the best retainer options for you to maintain your new smile.
Everyone’s smile is unique. From simple shifts to complex corrections, Fraser Valley Braces will develop a treatment plan that is personalized just for you.
